Healing From The Inside Out
Dr. Nadia Taylor is a board-certified doctor with board certifications in obesity medicine and pediatric hematology/oncology. She has been practicing for more than 2 decades and has a special interest in functional wellness and cancer supportive care. She has been personally affected by cancer and its devastating consequences. Since then, she’s been intent on using innovative technologies and natural supplements to help the body to heal from cancer and support cancer care. As a former academic physician at Emory University in Atlanta, she understands well that cutting-edge technologies take years to reach the mainstream and she aims at offering those services to her patient population in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Born in Jamaica and raised in both Lauderhill and Sunrise, she completed her medical degree at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, her internship and residency at the University of Florida Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, and her fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta.
She previously founded FamilyWellnessMD in Berkeley Lake, GA, in 2015 and served as its medical director until 2020. It is still a thriving practice in the metro Atlanta area that serves as an oasis for families looking for holistic medical care.
Dr. Taylor is excited to be back in South Florida and is continually looking to serve and make positive changes in the community. She has dedicated her life to a life of service for the betterment of others and believes that medicine is a calling and not just a career.
